PYBA Meeting 3/27/22 3:00-4:00PM

In Attendance: Joe, Amy, Allison, Heather, Mel, Allison, Bob, Erin, Ashley, Holly, Kara, Nate, Chris, Brandon Board Member Elections - All motioned and voted by board Treasurer- Holly Menard will train an incoming member. Treasurer in training will be Allison Swiatlowski. Special Events/Registration Coordinator- Amy Zajac. Role also assigns teams, orders jerseys. Sponsorship Coordinator- Kara Noonan Pear currently, but will train. Scheduling- Melanie Drewnoski Coaches Coordinator- Heather Brioullette Instructional Coaching Consultant- Nate Letendre President- Joe Nompleggi Equipment Manager- Heather Brioullette Secretary- Erin Braden Game Day Coordinator- Ashley O’Connor-Cowher Parental Advisors (Need 3)- Chris (Noah’s Dad) Instructional Coordinator- Amanda Rodrigues, Joe will reach out if she would like to continue in this role. (No motion or vote) Referee Coordinator- Bob Havelis Suburban Coordinator- Brandon Pronovost Referee Fees $3,630.00 was paid out in Referee fees this year. Palmer is currently paying $25.00/game. Other towns pay $30-$40. Proposal to pay $30/game to keep at market value. Next year’s projection is $4,880.00. 2022/2023 Season Agenda Suggestion made to make a date for pre-season ref & coaches meeting to review goals and rules. Joe can add course info for obtaining certification for referee to PYBA website Suggestion to add a box on registration form where parents can volunteer to run clock and help with the scorebook. Suggestion also made board could pay $10/game Need to clarify in bylaws the role of Instructional Coordinator & Parental Advisors. Suggestion made to give a discount to players who use the same jersey next season. Suggestion made to add player numbers on front of jersey. Numbers should only be 1-5. Suggestion made to form Suburban teams starting with 5th graders. Brandon will look into logistics of forming and enrolling teams. We will need to add to bylaws. Non-profit status- Allison will look into this summer. She needs a copy of the bylaws. CORI checks- the account needs more names added to it under the Coaches Coordinator for convenience. Online registration system- Joe is working on Team Linkd platform for 100% online registration and scheduling. App is free. He is trying to get buy-in from most Palmer sports. Bylaws need updating.
