Registration Update

Deadline will be 11/4/23

Followup invoices will be sent for outstanding balances for Suburban fees

124 registered players & Volunteers

All numbers may not be accurate as some totals were not in yet.

Boys 7/8- 15 total players, no coach yet. Likely will have 1 suburban and 1 recreational team

Girls 7/8- 3 total players. May need to reach out to surrounding towns

Boys 5/6- total unk, likely 1 suburban team and probably about 2 recreational teams

Girls 5/6- 13 recreational players, probably two teams. Likely all set with coaches. 1 suburban team

Boys 3/4- 24 total players, 4 coaches

Girls 3/4- 8 total registered, 1 coach

Suburban League

Once numbers are finalized we can start scheduling and pay fees. Deadline is early November.

Sponsorships

No new sponsorships have come in since last meeting. Will reach out again with second round of letters.

Banners reviewed during meeting.

Equipment

Electric ball pump was ordered. Will need more basketballs. Need to inventory.

New Superintendant of Palmer Schools has offered to donate chairs and will replace some mats that need repair to prevent injuries.

Board members have volunteered to tidy up and beautify Converse a bit. Plan is to wash walls, paint wall stripe Palmer blue, and wash and urethane bleachers. We will also hang banners. Date of cleanup TBA.

Board agreed to utilize smaller bleachers on opposite side of the gym for visitors as the larger bleachers could be dangerous. We will use donated chairs for teams.

Merchandise

Some orders online. Will repost on social media. Order will go in with uniform order. We are using Soundscape in Belchertown.

Skills Clinic

Board is considering arranging a skills clinic some time in the summer. Bob is willing to help organize. 

Coaches

Will hold coaches meeting/CORI checks on Wednesday Nov 9 from 6-8PM. Will need board members to help.
